Deputy Premier, Treasurer and Minister for State Development, Trade and Innovation Anna Bligh officially opened the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS) 2006 Congress at Sofitel Brisbane on Tuesday night, August 22.

The University of Queensland Orchestra and Paddington artist and musician David Williams performed at the Welcome Reception. Mr Williams played the didgeridoo in Dance Gundah, a concerto for didgeridoo and orchestra written by UQ School of Music Head Dr Philip Bracanin.
